The Andalusian horse is one of the purest breeds of horses still around today. Andalusians originated in the Iberian peninsula, where breeds from Libya, Egypt and Syria were brought. Because of their agility, they were used throughout time as cavalry horses. Although the breed is not as popular as it once was, it is now being used for a wide variety of sports such as bullfighting and high school dressage.

Andalusians are usually grey, but are sometimes found in bay or black. Although they are compact like their cousin, the lusitano, they are very elegant. Andalusians are also highly intelligent and learn things fairly quickly.

This one is my favorite :). The spots were fun to draw. Like the other ones, I used charcoal instead of pencil.

Original sells for $50.00. The whole series can be bought for $140.00, and prints vary depending on size.

Very nice! I love the shading. I think the legs are too short though? Or maybe the body's too big. I can't decide. :XD: Either way, it's soooper-awesome.

Very pretty, though the belly seems a tad muddled in spots, not very clear.

thanks
